After receiving my degree of Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from CU Boulder, I began teaching private voice and piano lessons, and have now for 10 years. I received classical and pop (chord charts) piano instruction from age 8-20, and continue to pursue my love in both singing and playing the piano. I teach all levels of vocal lessons, and teach from beginner to intermediate in piano.
My specialized interests are the student's specific learning styles and personal goals. My master's thesis was on this very topic, and I implement the studies and results of this into my teaching for effective playing and singing.
In voice lessons, I offer a unique advantage in that I can record your warm-ups and piano accompaniments and post a mp3 of the song(s) on Google Drive for you after the lesson. Many of my students, especially those who do not own a keyboard or play the piano, have benefited from this technology, time outside of lesson, and effort I put in to help them succeed. I also record foreign language lyrics to assist with the process of learning an Italian, French, German, or other foreign language piece.
